New release version, and two new features. The first is 'international attention' which is a measure of - as one might expect - how much attention other countries are paying to the developing situation in Laguta. In particular, the United States gets very antsy when an otherwise reasonable supply of a crucial resource is being harassed. Should the situation become dire enough, they might have to intervene.

The second mechanic is 'continent of incorporation'. Different places have different specializations that can modify your game slightly. For example, PMCs who formed in Africa recruit operatives that are less likely to die in combat zones. 

There are also a few, more minor improvements, namely the ability to quit back to the main menu and restart without having to quit the whole game. So that's something.
